I looked at a 12v wiring schematic from 99 and it has a number 27 beside the slide step, it could be position F27 on the 12v distribution panel, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

The fuse on my 2000 trade winds 7371 is behind rear panel beside of left driver seat. Had the same problem with mine a few months ago. Someone on here told me where to look. I think it’s the fuse block with about 8 fuses. Mine had worked fine then all of a sudden it quit. Good luck.
