Slideout Plumbing Fail

Our kitchen sink is located in the slide out of our 2001 Sea View and after 22 years the flexible drain hose failed. See my blog for details.

My fix is temporary but I'd like to eventually replace the original non-flexible drain hose with something more flexible.

Suggestions?

Pool vacuum hose. They make cheaper and they make better vinyl. I used the cheaper 5 years ago, it’s doing just great.

Yeah, I was looking at those. What did you do for end connectors?

The blue fittings at Home Depot, on the sprinkler isle when I bought them. Had to keep it color coordinated

Sink drain pipe

Did the exact same with my SeaView. Pool supply store then Home depot for the fittings. Just make sure to ziptie everything back in place when finished, home depot have the large zipties too

I used marine bilge hose. My drain was 11/4” spa hose, had kinked and cracked due to Tiffin installation not allowing room to flex.
The bilge hose is very flexible, however it is ribbed, with smooth areas every 2’ for ease of connecting
