Slow fill Sea Breeze1
I have a 2005 Sea Breeze LX 8375 on the W-24 Chassis and am having great trouble in filling the gas. The flow shuts down almost immediately after I pull the lever on the pump.
Took over 45 minutes to fill 43 gallons.
HELP!
Will listen to any, and all suggestions.

Check to make sure the vent tube isnt blocked or kinked in anyway,

Don't put the pump nozzle all the way in gas filler. Just enough to hold it in place.

I had the same problem and solved it from help from this forum. Look under the MH were the gas tube runs from the filler to the side of the gas tank. There are two tubes. The large one is for filling the tank and the smaller tube is the vent. Make sure the smaller tube is above the larger tube. The two tubes are secured to each other with clamps. If the small tube is lower or equal with the large tube the tank won't vent properly. Just loosen the clamps and rotate the small tube up. You'll be amazed how quickly it will fill after you make the repairs. I know how frustrating it can be when the nozzle clicks off every few seconds.
like others have mentioned also make sure there aren't any kinks in the vent tube were it enters the tank or at the back side of the filler.

I have the same issue with my '05 Seabreeze. What I do is make sure that the nose of the MH is lower than the tail when filling. If necessary, I'll use the rear levellers to raise the back end. Set the nozzle to the slowest setting too.

I stand there while I pump and adjust accordingly---but with some new info here I have some things to check----next week doing the big fix it week. Thanks for the heads up.

Noozeyguy,
You have the answer! I raised the rear jacks about 5" to 6" and am able to set nozzle on auto and let 'er fill! A permanent solution is to shorten the steel fill tube and make the run more at an angle that raises the fill end of the tube. The loooooong fill tube runs to the FRONT of the gas tank instead of the rear. I will also check the vent tube to see if there is trapped gas in it.

Had something similar in our last motorhome. Crawling under it I found the fill hose dipped slightly below where it entered the tank. I moved it up and secured it and never had another problem. As previously suggested, also check the routing of the vent hose relative to the fill line.
