Start Boost Question

98 tradewinds 36' diesel there is a start boost switch on the dash that is supposed to link the batteries, mine is not working. I assume there is a solenoid to link them but I cant seem to find it! - any help would be great : )

Have you tried having someone listen for It clunking, while you push the switch on and off ?

In many cases, the solenoid internal contacts fail, but they still electromaticly activate, making a sound.

The Solenoid is located on the BACKSIDE of the 12VDC Distribution board, the one with all the 12VDC fuses, located in the last bay bck wall, rear passenger side.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
I presume you are continually holding the switch down?

Your batteries might not be connected correctly.
