I'll need to replace the starter motor and solenoid.
No need to replace the starter too. Standard SS736 solenoid is $60 on Amazon, plus $20 at Harbor Freight for the correct Torx socket (long snout E5) if you don't already have one.

Well, I was prepared to say "not for an AC Delco starter", but then I saw the AC Delco is only $85! So yeah, buy a whole starter!

I have a 2002 National #6355, and I found the red wire that goes to the starter is loose. Mine wouldn't turn over. Tightened the nut and problem solved.

Chassis probably has a STARTER RELAY, which is a CUBE RELAY, probably mounted in one of the two chassis FUSE BOXES? Swap w/ similar from another circuit to troubleshoot. OTOH, my T&C Van would do nothing during a food run, and the PUSH-ON terminal from IGN on starter solenoid decided to come loose at 120k miles
