I had a Steer Safe System installed a few years ago while in Quartzsite during the Big Tent set up. It's out of Deming, New Mexico. They had a video showing a semi loaded with (I think) 80, 000 lbs and set the drivers front tire to blow. The driver was able to still control the truck with one hand. A few days after I left Quartzsite heading to Calif. I hit the Santa Ana winds and had no problem in steering. I also had no side push from passing semi's. The system is springs and never needs adjusting. It's also warrantied for as long as the original owner has it.

Hey Sarge;

What kind of price for the system and what about installation? Can it be a DIY job?

Here's their website. Looks like it's around $439.00 now.

They installed mine, but you can do it. Check out their DIY instructions.
