I've had our 2003 National Tradewinds 375LE aligned, new shocks, adjusted air pressure and still wanders requiring full time attention, especially at interstate speeds.
We have a Spartan chassis and 330 hp Catepillar engine.
Looking for ideas.
Thanks

2003 National Tradewinds 375LE

7370 TRADEWIND WITH 255/80/22.5 MICHELIN XRV AND HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. RAN EVER AIR PRESSURE AND STILL SAME. ORIG TIRE WAS 235 AND WENT TO 255 STEERING HAS TO BE STRAIGHT WHEN DROPPING AIR OR IT WILL HIT. RUNNING 95PSI FRONT AND BACK FREIGHTLINER SAID TO RUN 75PSI BUT I SLEEP BETTER DRIVING AT 95PSI. I CAN NOT BRING MY SELF TO DRIVE ON A FLAT TIRE.
THE CHARTS I HAVE SEEN THE 235 WILL NOT CARRY THE TW7370 WEIGHT AT ITS RATED AIR PRESSURE, I THINK THIS PSI BECAME A ISSUE BACK IN THE DAY. WAS TOLD HIGH PSI WILL GIVE A HARSH RIDE AND WEAR OUT SOONER, LIKE ANYONE EVER WORE OUT A RV TIRE.

Get the print out from your alignment shop. Make sure they use factory specs not something they dreamed up.
Mine drove decent after finally getting proper alignment!
I added SteerSafe last week and now I can even take my hands off the wheel for a few seconds at highway speeds. Will be taking a trip the first of Sept to really try it out.

Add a steering centering / stabilizing device to your front end.

Best of Luck let us know how it comes out -........ -
