Arrow Storage Compartment Latch - Surfside

I am looking for help in replacing the outside storage bay latches. The plastic latch has broken and although I have found some that look compatible, I cannot get my old ones out. Does anyone have information or a part replacement.

I found a really good youtube video that looks very similar except mine only has one metal arm (vs the 2 shown in the video and the latch itself won't budge (yes I removed the screws :-).

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Most likely put in place while paint was still damp. take a stiff putty knife and pry gentle underneath and see if that works or just get a big hammer and hit them....
