Stove Top Help

2004 Seabreeze has corian countertops also has corian countertop on collapsible stove top. When cooking the stove top will not stain upright position keeps falling back down. Any way to adjust that I cannot see?

This sound like you have the same set up as in my Newmar , but I've never had an issue .

Ours is the same, the pin and bracket that hold it up is broken on one side. I couldn’t see a way to repair it. We put a couple small tabs of Velcro on the wall to hold it up, not the best but it works.

Assuming you know how the bracket works? The metal used for that bracket is thin and bends easily. My parents bent mine not understanding how it works. I removed the bracket (4 screws if I remember correctly) and bent the hooks and pins back into position. So far it works perfectly, until the next time someone bends it again...

I would suggest removing the bracket and see if you can bend things back into position to function properly. There are 2 visible screws on the front of the bracket, and 2 screws in the back covered by rubber or plastic covers. It's an easy fix.

We have the same setup on our Tradewinds 375. I tried several fixes, but finally resolved to showing a flat head screwdriver in between the metal support and the base. It's worked just fine for the last 4 years this way. We don't move our RV much, so it's really not an inconvenience, even though I'd prefer it worked correctly as designed.

Same issue here. I made two wooden blocks to go under the metal lips that stick out when the cover is up. I tried to send you some photos but this forum makes it to difficult to attach photos.
