Suggestions on new mattress for our RV
My wife and I are both stiff after sleeping in our Dolphin. Never had the problem before and we are thinking it is the mattress. We do know for sure but our house mattress seems to be OK for us. Anybody else experienced this problem and what mattress did you buy to replace the original? http://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/sad.gif

Hmmmm....... mattress comfort is purely subjective. What is comfortable for me may not be for you. We put a memory foam "topper" on our matteress and ............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Added 3" memory foam topper to our mattress. Definitely helped and made it bearable but would like to purchase a quality mattress at some point.

We replaced our mattress with a low end Ortho mattress and put a foam topper from Costco on it and we both sleep well.

I had a queen-size sleep number mattress in the house. That's one thing I didn't get rid of. I moved it to my 2002 Sea Breeze. I put it on top of the existing mattress. That makes the bed a little higher and the mattress doesn't go under the closet when I close the slide. I just raise the foot of the mattress up after I close it. That way it doesn't stay mashed up while I'm traveling. It works great.

Installed this one today from Amazon:
DynastyMattress 10-inch CoolBreeze Gel Memory Foam Mattress-Queen RV Size
Nice soft but supportive feel. More later when we have some nights on it.

Sleep Number from the Factory will save you big bucks! We have the sleep number in the house as well as in the Motor-Home. Buying it from CW is way too high in price!

Air mattress is the only way to go.
I have a 1997 36' Dolphin M.H. and we had the same problem with our bed so we bought an air mattress, the one with two separate controls that way we could adjust our side to what ever firmness each person wanted.
Just a thought.
