Surround sound

Has anyone tied there surround sound into the radio? If so what did it involve? Thanks, a new Dolphin owner

Am I right in assuming the surround only works with the tv?

In conjunction with the DVD player system.

The surround system works off of the DVD Player system which is set up as a 5.1 surround system which drives the 5 speakers and the subwoofer tied to that system. The dashboard stereo will not drive that system. It does not have the 5.1 processor. I upgraded my DVD system with a Blu-Ray player and used the existing speakers. I can play radio, Pandora, or MP3 files from a flash drive through the system. The regular stereo is separate.

Can you tell me which Blu-Ray player you use? Is it acting as a receiver driving the speakers and sub plus allowing input from other devices?
