2003 Dolphin 5355. Just inside the door to the left is the switch panel. Below the panel is a single lighted switch. I dosen't seem to do anything but light up when I turn it on. Anyone? Thanks.

Switch ID

On our 2004 SeaBreeze that switch is for the inverter. We don't use it but you would if you boondock. You need really good batteries for that. We just camp where we can get electric. The inverter converts 12v to 110 to use in place of plugging in for your TV, appliances etc.

My 88 Dolphin has a switch like that on the wall next to the fridge. I traced the wires to an old fan in the fridge roof vent. The fan didn't work so I replaced it with 2 new fans in the roof vent and 2 in the fridge access door louvers to draw air in.

In my National #6355, that switch turns the light on over the steps and its located under coach over the step slid out. Mine is a yellow light.

My 98 Sea Breeze has that same looking switch on the wall beside the stove. Labeled tank heaters. And they still work! [emoji16]Click image for larger version

I'm thinking the inverter as well. Have to use an external charger to chatge house bats when gen is running or on shore power. I'll double check on it. Thanks jcdermo.

It's the inverter switch in my Dolphin too. Though my coach came to me without any inverter, the switch would still light up when I turned it on.

Thanks Skyexplorer, there is a compartment switch on the panel above. Seems like there can be a variety of uses for the switch in question based on the responses I've received.
