I think this switch was added by a dealer or previous owner, not National RV, and so it will not be found in any manual. The previous owner of our Dolphin put a switch like this in the same location to manually open/close the steps when the automatic step controller stopped working. I replaced the automatic step control block so the steps worked as they should and replaced this switch with another that now controls an extra inverter.

Our 03 Dolphin LX 6355 has the exact same panel....but no additional switch as do you. Guess you could take apart and see what gauge and markings/color are the wires. Might be a clue there.

Switches

In my answer in post 4 I obviously didn't read the original post closely enough and now after seeing the picture of the switch it wasn't what I thought you were asking. If we had a picture of any other panel maybe one in the hall if you have one there it could help eliminate guessing.

switches

Thanks for the clue! However when I Unplugged from shore power, flipped the switch, TV would not come on. Turned the inverter on from the control panel, TV came on, flipped the mystery switch again and nothing happened. Switch does light up when in the on position. Still a big mystery what it does.

I have no inverter switch on the control panel, just the one by the door. My coach only has a small inverter, not really sure what it operates besides the TVs.

Is there a light under your steps that come on when they are out? Maybe it allows you to have your steps out and turn the light off?

My step light goes out when I have the step out and shut off the switch, to keep it out. I keep it in this position even in storage.

Sure that's the way it should be but is it actually doing it?

My 98 Sea Breeze has a switch that looks the same but is on the wall by the stove. Mine is labled and is for the tank heaters. Does yours have heat blankets on the gray/black tanks? Thats my vote. Happy trails.

Not sure if you figured out your mystery switch yet. I finally got around to taking a couple of pics of mine which are located by the stove. You can see where a label has been added to indicate what the switch was for by the previous owner. Look at the bottom of your gray and black tanks. If you have tank heaters, there will be a protective plate to the outside and the heat mat (like an oversize heating pad) will be sandwiched between the plate and the tank and both held up by straps.

Don't think so. The storage compartment light switch is on the bank of 5 above the one the OP is asking about and is labled.
