Time for a new vinyl roof.

I climbed up on the roof of my MH and found it in extremely poor shape. Whoever had roofed this before, did a P_SS poor job.
They did not stretch the roofing material properly leaving wrinkles in it, but the worst part is they put it right over debris left on the roof without sweeping it.
I found what appears to be two spots halfway back on the driver side that you could screw an antenna cable to. They protrude up three quarters of an inch above the roof line holding the roofing material up in the air.
Don't even get me started on all the little holes, and all the dollops of caulking no doubt to cover all of the punctures that resulted from debris left under the roofing material.

What does it take to reroof one of these?

Are there different thicknesses of roof material?

What does it cost?

Who do you talk to to have it done?

Check out RVRoof.com it says it is a spray on flex roofing. Several locations, says lifetime warranty. I don't need roof repairs, yet, but I stumbled across an ad for this product and it sounds nice not to have to worry with lap sealants, joints, and the constant checking on the roof. Good luck!

Just had a new roof put on.2001 Newmar. Price quotes varied and since I am in NY with a 8 percent tax it was not cheap. in NY RV places try to do the work in winter because it is a slow period. 7 to 9 thousand.
I think even the spray on type requires a clean smooth surface.
if you search t here are a few posts on doing it yourself but it is labor intensive and requires warmth and a dry spot.
On mine the front 2/3 had to have all the underlayment removed and replaced. then they double decked the whole.
Pretty good job but budget breaker.
shop around but check reputation.

also if the under structure is rotten then some of that might need to be replaced unless the cross members are aluminum

Liquid EDPM

If the structure underneath is good or good enough that you can do the repairs this product worked well for me.

EPDM Coatings - Liquid EPDM Rubber Roof Coatings For Roof Leaks

I cleaned a leaky roof and applied this with a paint roller on a stick. Once it cured it looked flawless. The next weekend we went camping and had a big Georgia thunder storm come up through the night. We were nice and dry. I had that camper two more years and several trips and when I sold it the roof was still sealed and looked great.
