I need to replace all the tires on my 2008 National Trop-ical 35' rig, any recommendations on tire brand or type.
I would like a smooth and quiet tire!!

Very satisfied with recent purchase of Continentals through the FMCA tire discount program.
Lots of posts and different preferences from low $ imports to high $$ Michelins.
Most have had poor luck with GoodYears but mine I replaced served me well. Do some searching and you will find lots of opinions.

Have the Toyo m144's on mine they are a "universal mount" tire, good for the steer axle and the drive axle. The Toyo's replaced old Michelin x rv tires, I find the Toyo,s have a nicer ride.

I've had Sumitomo 718 and and Toyo M154 and been happy with both. In fact, I have Sumitomo on the rear and Toyo on the front right now. I change my steers every five years but will go 8-10 on the rear duals, hence the mismatch.

In response to you question..
If the coach has 255/80R22.5 Michelins - consider the 265/75R22.5 - this is the metric replacement
Safe travels to you and your family

So they cant get any Sumitomo tires that aren't 4-5 years old already, so now I am going to try...Ironhead IAR 220 in my size.

How does the FMCA work?

Never heard of Ironhead, but it seems they are made in Ohio in the same factory as Hercules and Cooper. At least they're not Chinese!

EDIT: Turns out I was confused between IronMAN and IronHEAD. IronHEAD is a subsidiary of Sailun (a Chinese company) and are made in China and Vietnam. Yikes!

Toyo's would be a good choice. I have not heard any bad reviews when people switch to Toyo's. The 144s seem popular too.
My next set will be Toyo's.....

That's what I went to and am very pleased. Smooth ride. I run 80psi front, and 85psi rear, based on my weight and the tire tables. Replaced Michelins.

I went with the Firestone FS561. They are VERY quiet and smooth. The reviews are very good on this tire.

It is very similar to the Bridgestone R238. Both the Firestone FS561 and the Bridgestone R238 are made in Tennessee. I like that they are made in USA by American workers.

I don't have enough time or mileage on them to have a first hand opinion on how well they survive the sun and miles.
