Bought a 2014 MB bluetec diesel last year, salesman tried to sell me a "platinum covers everything" 5 year policy. Sounded good because the bluetec's had problems with emissions, def and 02 sensors. Before I signed, called warrantee company and they said they covered everything except the exhaust system. Guess what, emissions, def and sensors are considered part of the exhaust system.
So read the policy carefully before getting it.

We were caught up in the severe snowstorm in that Southeast area... and had an air stem broke off tire by ice build up on the wheel.
The available assistance for any roadside help were all triaged to more important and in danger personnel (we were safe in a snow-closed MiniMart parking lot, with a tank of gas) We secured a local Snyder Tire Fleet Solution thru a mention by our RV sales owner....
And we were reimbursed the cost from the tire repair and tire change by the Road America Company...(Viking).
Note** This is the Roadside Assistance company that was referred to us when we had our RV initially inspected thru Wholesale Warranty Service.
