I would think GCWR minus the loaded weight of the motorhome alone would yield the towing capacity. Obviously, you need to know the weight of the loaded motorhome. Alternately, you could use GCWR minus GVWR (assuming your motorhome is not loaded beyond GVWR).
Of course it would be further limited by the towing/tongue weight limits of the hitch itself which is usually on the hitch somewhere.
The transmission should be able to handle the full GCWR stated in the motorhome specs.
