Tropical

I am just looking at to buy a National 37' Tropical with the Ford's V10.
I'm not seeing much discussion about the Tropical. Is that a GOOD THING OR A BAD THING?

I have one. It it isn't a bad thing. Like most things RV, it often depends on how the unit was maintained, it's age, amount of use and so on. What I will say is that National didn't rank in what I call the top tier or RV construction. They made decent units which were reasonably well equipped for a decent price. The Tropical was I believe was the second most luxurious model they had.

You hardly hear anything bad about a National RV. They made a good product. I consider myself lucky to find the one I did.

Thank You Guys. You have given us confidence we just bought a Tropical 37'er. Our first class A after many years of pulling a 31' Titanium 5th wheel. We have just retired and we are excited. Thank You Again.
Oldbro.

We bought our '01 new and have never been disappointed. We did have "Opposing Slide" envy for a year or two, but got over it. The Tropi-Cal name was dropped and it became the Dolphin LX in '02.

Actually, the top of the line Tropi-Cal and as a result, expensive and not selling as many, became a DP in 2003 to warrant it's high cost. The Dolphin LX, then became the top gas puller.
