Tropical T330 mileage expectations??????

My wife & I want to know if we can get 9 or possibly 10 mpg with the 33' tropical and a 300 hp diesel. We normally drive around 60 to 65 mph... Charleston to San Diego 6 times in our journey before letting it go...

We have consistently realized 9.5 to 10 MPG since 2017 with our 36' 1999 Tradewinds. The gross weight is 26,350 but were never really at that weight. We have a 300hp Cat with a 6 speed Allison. The sweet spot is at 63 MPH and I leave the Allison Mode ON most of the time. So I would say yes to your question. Make sure the Air Filter is clean and your foot is off the accelerator and you should even do better cause your coach is slightly smaller and probably weighs a bit less. Of course it depends on the year and what level of smog control you have. If you have a DPF (I think it's called) system then my data is useless to you.

Dick

I like Dick have a 1999 TW and have found speeds between 57 and 62 I get 9.8 to 10.3 however above 62 fuel mileage takes a dive in a hurry.

Not for me... T330

After looking closer at the t330 we have decided not to proceed. Unit is in need of too many things for us. Thanks for all the input..
