Uh... Did I install the slide topper plate properly?

Well, I feel a little stoopid but I need input to confirm whether I installed the lounge-side slide topper plate correctly. I removed it to apply Lexel caulk to the screw holes and then realized I could not remember when end is up.

Yes, I did that!

Anyway, please take a look at this pic and tell me if I got it right - I mounted it so the groove is near the top. This is the only such plate on my Dolphin and so I cannot compare. I won't be pulling my slide back in for several weeks and don't want to forget about this.
