velvac front side mirrors

i have a 99 Seaview with velvac front side mirrors. they have the little amber
turn signal lights at the bottom of the mirrors.

my problem is the bulb burned out in the amber turn signal. i finally removed
the little amber lens cover but i cannot get the bottom plastic piece out at the
bottom of the amber lens cover? it appears like it is glued in and i dont want
to break it or crack my amber lens cover. any ideas on how to get the
bottom plastic piece out without breaking it or my lens in order to replace light bulb??? any suggestions are appreciated. thanks

The whole amber light is just plugged inti the mirror. I think that they cost a couple of bucks at truck stops.

thanks found a new amber replacement lens. plugged it in and it still did
not work?? must have a short or a wire came loose to the left side mirror??

right side works fine. left side nothing. so i am not getting any power to the
left side? even when i turn the headlights on it does not light up like the
right side does? so i am not getting any power to it? any ideas on where to
look for a loose wire or bad connection to the mirror?

i dont know if it could be a blown fuse but the right one works, are they on
individual circuits? maybe it could be a blown fuse? where would the fuse
panel be for the mirror? in the engine compartment?

i have a 31 foot Seaview. thanks
