Water in Coach from Slide

We are in the middle of a 6300 mile trip from Ca to Ga and Back. We were in Nashville for 2 days when a Rain Squalll with 60-75mph winds and Rain(heavy)for 2 hrs. came thru. We whethered the storm and in the am packed up. Put both slides in, made sure all was ready to go and off we went. I made a left turn out of the space and was showered with water from the living rm slide and also the kitchen fan area. Anyone had this happen before? We do not have a ladder, didn't think we would need one...What would cause this? What needs to be done to remedy? Any suggestions would be welcome! We have a 2005 Dolphin LX 6320 32" Workhourse Chassis,8.1 V8, Fusion toad.....
PS
Anyone going to the Nascar Races in Atlanta over Labor Day? We will be on the Backstretch Terrace overlooking the raceway. Come by and say Hi.
Thanks
PJ/Mar

Yep....early in my ownership days, after having rain water pour on my back while driving, I learned to check the top of my retracted slide (inside) for a water puddle up there on top, especially if it has rained recently. I usually try to level the coach with the left side (slide side) and front about a half inch lower than the right and rear to get drainage away from the coach, off the top of the slid for water that blows under the Topper..

I have not done this.....and you may not as it is in the $500+ range......but go to Lippert Components, Inc., which is Solera Slide-out sleeve by Lippert Components. 574-537-8900.

Yes I have had this happen and now if it has rained real hard I check for water on the slide. I also move it in a bit till it tilts and let it set and drain for a while.

Thanks
It rained on us heavy last nite and before we left I moved the slide in about 3 or 4 inches and well it worked. Water came pouring off the topper and the slide. Thanks for all your help. No second shower today...

I run the front jacks up an inch or so and the water runs off the back end. I'll also tip to the first slide I pull in.
