Weather Pro Power Awning Question

My Weather Pro Power Awning goes almost straight out with very little tilt. It operates correctly but I was wondering if there is any way to have more downward tilt to block the sun better? Are there adjustments that I am missing in the paperwork or is this the only position the awning has?

Thanks for any input.

Sandi!, This is a Very Good question as I would like to know as well. Mine is settles into the opposite position tilted down more than out. So, if anyone out there who could shed some light on this, we both would love to know. Thanks for any and all answers.

Sandi, short answer is NO. On ours it's to miss the kitchen slide out.

Fred that is what I thought after searching this site. Back to the drawing board to find something that can help add shade short of changing to a manual awning.

How about a Patty O'shade from Camping World?

Thank you for the suggestion but the problem with those is getting to them with an awning that is 11+- feet off the ground and they need to be tied down. My research on this forum confirms that these awnings' arms are not strong to remain out in very much wind so anything attached to them would be a problem attaching and undoing several times in a trip.

I'm working on an idea with ground stakes, PVC and a shade fabric from a previous awning. I'll post photos if it works.
