What is it???

While doing some cleaning/maintenance in my water compartment, I had the panel removed and noticed an encapsulated module in there that I have no idea what it is or what it does. This device is about 3"X2"X2" and has a multi pin connector with a harness that runs into all the other harnesses over the top of the black tank. It is screwed directly to the bulkhead behind the left side rear wheels.
Here are a couple of photos

The part in question is in the white circle.

I have perused all of the diagrams that I have from NRV (meager as they are) but I can not find a reference to this device.

Thanks for looking

Kent what you have found is this.
15Amp Potted Water Pump Controller

The MONOPLEX Water Pump Controller is designed to operate as a "low side", remote switch in 12 volt DC systems. As it's name implies, it was designed to control the domestic water pump. It's use, however, is not limited to that. It can also be used to control a variety of other loads such as lighting, other pumps, fans, etc., when it is convenient to switch the ground.

Thanks for that Richard. No wonder I could not find it as I don't have any drawing that even shows the water pump. Is this device specific to the brand/model of water pump in my coach? If I changed water pump types, I can just envision the mess I could get into if I don't understand what that thing is. I will "google" it and see if I can come up with a spec sheet or some tech info.

Here is a link to it.

This is the device that allows the use of momentary switches to turn the pump on and off as well as allow a remote lamp. It would not effect your choice of pump at all.

Thanks for the response. Another question solved by this forum.....
