Window valence upgrades

It's rainy here in Mississippi so i decided to attack the dated window valences. I removed the brass/plastic finisher and recovered all of the other parts. I visited a Flexsteel outlet store Friday and got $2 & $4 fabric. Still need more for the final three windows.

This an unfinished window.

Nice Job, my son has a Sunline Camper TT and wants to do the same thing with his windows. I will show him what a diff it makes. I am sure we will be doing it soon. His DW hates the "dated look". Thanks for your post and good luck on getting the rest of them completed.

We did ours a couple years ago, you can see the process in photos on our "Renovating a Tradewinds" thread. Get a good electric stapler, spray on fabric tack, and use the old material you remove as your pattern.
