Question Wiper woes

My husband and I have owned a 2005 Seabreeze for 2 years now and are quite happy with it, except for one problem.
On our trip to Alaska last summer we ran into problems with the wipers. Sometimes they would quit running after operating for a while, then start up again, or sometimes slow down on their own.
When we returned home we took it in for servicing and we were told that we needed a new wiper motor. Dealers in this area (southwestern Ontario) have been unable to find a replacement motor. Our warranty only covers a new one but at this point we would buy any that works. Can anyone tell me where to buy this part?

I would agree to try this first as your symptoms do point more to a bad connection and doesn't cost anything. I would recommend dielectric grease though, I use it in all my electrical connections.
