Wires ran under windows?

When we had our windows removed and defogged I noticed two wires running through the passenger window cut out. They were not secured, one was black the other white. Does anyone know what these wires control?

thanks for any input.

My mirrors are high and forward of windows, so you think these wires are coming from the battery to the mirrors?
