Wood grain wallpaper on my woodwork
I purchased my 2001 recreational RV, sea breeze about a year ago.
I was looking at some of the wood trim and found out a lot of it was stick on paper.
I really like my coach and everything else is great except this problem. Some of it is coming loose and needs to be replaced.
Does anyone know where I can find some of this stuff?
I am really disappointed in national for being this cheap on the woodwork, they are out of business so what does that tell you.
Thanks for your response

You’re in luck. I just researched this issue for myself. I am contacting rmwrapsstore.com to help me match the hard maple in my coach. I too am not very impressed with the cheap cabinets, but then again, these aren’t $300,000 coaches either.
Let me know how things turn out for you, or if you find some one else to buy from.

Just do a search for RV wood grain contact. many resources available.
The wood trim and paneling you have is what all the coach builders use until you get
to the very high end coaches, National RV was actually a cut above the average.

I have a 2005 Dolphin and yes in some areas there is some of that contact paper stuff but mostly real wood especially the cabinets they are beautiful. Go look at the newer stuff out there, you will laugh they are crap. I can see it while going up the steps to enter the coach. Really bad.

I replaced all of the plastic covered trim pieces with real oak trim. I also replaced the long ceiling molding in the bedroom, above the rear window. The whole coach looks much better for very little money spent. Cut the wood to fit, put a couple coats of varnish on it, and staple it in with small finishing nails or a brad nailer. Oak moldings can be purchased at a house finishing warehouse.
