'11 40QTH - how to get behind cupboard above driver

I'd like to get behind the cupboard above the driver's left side where the awning controls are to do some wiring, but I don't see an easy way to remove the board where all the controls are mounted. I see some screws around the perimeter, but they look like they'll just let the facing board push in backwards a bit.

Has anyone removed this? If so, tips would be appreciated.

I've attached a photo of what I'm talking about.

Thanks!

I have the same cabinet and don't see how to get into it. If no one here can help, i suggest to post the question on the tiffin RV forum.

I removed each piece to get behind to install some insulation. Very hard to do. I also have a tv next to it that I could remove and reach behind that panel. You might look inside that cabinet next to it and see of the side panel is removable

On my '11 36QSH the awning electronics are behind the cabinet over the steering wheel. I'd say yours are in the same place. You get on there by removing some screws on the back panel.

It you want to peek behind that panel you referenced pull one or more of the faceplates from the inverter remote or tank monitors.

Pull your battery/water level gauge and see what you can feel when you go in through that hole. When I did some work up there I seem to remember had to re-arrange a lot of spare wires through the face plate, then push the top of the face plate away from me to be able to get in there. When the top goes in, you need to lift the bottom of it upward. so it starts to assume a horizontal position.

By removing the screws all along the inner edges, and slitting the caulk on the outside face, I was able to pull the entire face off. There were 3 screws in the flat bottom that pulled out of the face, oops, but from what I'm seeing they probably aren't critical as long as I get all the other ones back in. I want to put the display for our Morningstar solar controller and Trimetric in there, so I'll cut a new piece of wood and route it out for the layout I want and stain it to match. We don't use the Winegard in motion satellite since we don't watch TV, so I'll pull the wiring from its switch, mark it, and put the faceplate in storage until we sell the coach.

Thanks for the responses guys!
