12-15 Phaeton or Allegro Bus???

Narrowing down the chosen one for a newer to me coach. Decided on Tiffin, I use to like Monaco but the good ones are getting older. Looking at 40 bath and a half, or a straight 40 ft. quad slide. Like the 40qbh Phaeton, and thought to go that way. Found a 12, made after the first of they ear, so the roof, floor, and slide problem are not there. Looked at a 40 foot Bus, and it is many steps above a phaeton. The one I liked was all electric, very nice and clean. So much electronics in it, it is scary! Power drivers window, all side shades were power, and a host of other gizmos. Thinking 9 or 10 years old, the Phaeton might be easier to maintain. The price difference is not the problem, the maint. is. Any thoughts from the all knowing, all seeing, and wise Tiffin mavins.

Not trying to start trouble, would like some answers on maintaining problems.

We have a 2010 AB on a Powerglide chassis. I've had all the different chassis and the powerglide is by far the best ride. The maintenance on ours is the normal stuff like generator, oil, fuel filters, air dryer, oil changes. One other good thing about the AB over the Phaeton is the side radiator on the AB it is a direct drive with a gear box and easier to maintain yourself. I do all my own maintenance on ours. We have all the power shades and only had a problem with 1 motor. They are easy to replace and readily available.

We've had a 2014 37AP for a year now, and we love it. Easy to drive and perfect layout for a couple.

No real issues other than normal stuff. I had to reboot the remote lock system when we first got it, reprogram several shades, and I'm in the process of replacing 2 motors & the whole shade over the door. Prior owner kept up the maintenance very well, but little electronic stuff they just left broken.

These actually are less complex since the Spyder system wasn't implemented yet.
