I have one of the 12 volt bi-pin ceiling light bulbs not working so I want to replace the bulb. I pulled out the old one, but I'm having trouble reading the wattage on the light bulb. It looks like it's 10 watt's but I'd like to be sure.

Can someone verify the wattage for me if you've replaced one of yours.

The bulbs are pretty inexpensive online, so I'll probably just order a dozen or so, but want to get the right ones.

They're basically the same bulbs, but are available in 10, 20, 35 and 50 watt versions. The Tiffin lights are pretty small reflectors and I think they only use the 10 watt version.

I suppose I could pull a couple more out and see if I can read them if no one knows the wattage.

Joe,
The 2005 Bus has 10 watt halogen bulbs and I'd think yours should be the same. Even with the 10 watt, they get nice and toasty warm.

They are 10 watt. Be sure not to handle the glass bulb bare handed as his will shorten the life of the bulb. Use tissue paper or put on latex gloves so as not to transfer oils from your skin on the the glass and cook the bulb.

Thansk for the confirmation of the wattage. Last night I also had one of my sons look at the fixture it self and it also has the typical warning about maximum bulb size and said 10 watts.

It's a shame I can't read that little print anymore. It's either a case of my arms aren't long enough or my eyes aren't what they used to be

Good reminder about the handling. Halogen bulbs should never be touched by bare fingers. In case they accidently are, a careful cleaning with alcohol can help remove the oil but it's better to be safe and try not to touch them with bare fingers.
