1987 Astro Allegro- Electrical question

Hi everyone! We replaced the main battery and now the RV starts again and plays the radio and horn works. BUT.....All power in the coach, all lights, fans etc.. do NOT work! Auto Zone charged the other battery and it is sparky and full. We hooked it back up and still....NO inside lights or power. Main fuse box is under the steering wheel area. Is there another set of fuses elsewhere? We have no manual for our RV. Any help appreciated! Last year we made it camping 1 night at Big Sur but our brakes went out. Brakes are fixed and now it's the electrical. Wanting to GO!

Not sure what an Astro Allegro is but you need to replace your house batteries and check the charging system for those batteries. Your house batteries power the lights, fans, etc.

House batteries are generally 6V deep cycle golf cart batteries. These are mounted under your steps (in most Class A gas rigs). They are charged via the alternator (through a charge relay) or by your converter when plugged into shore power.

Get yourself some help from a knowledgeable RV mechanic.

Not sure on your model, but there is a switch usually near the entrance steps that is called a salesman switch. It controls 12 volt power to the inside of the coach. It may be turned off.
If you are sure the house batteries are fully charged then look for a blown fuse near the batteries. It’s usually under a plastic cover and run anywhere from 300-400 amps.
