1. When driving MH I have a hard time seeing/reading my instrument gauges. I'm thinking when I'm driving my eyes have adjusted to the bright light outside. When I glance at the gauges my eyes have not adjusted to the darker gauge area. Anyone have a solution, or suggestion that would help?

2.When trying to open windows in my MH they are very hard to slide. Has anyone had the same problem, and if so what did you do to resolve it? I know, I know................eat more spinach!!

Reading the guages: turn your lights on ath the instrument brightness up
For the windows: spray the tracks with Plexus. Many auto stores carry as well as Wallmart.

I have the same problem of seeing the gauges while driving during the day with my Rx sun glasses. I finally broke down and bought some that "clip-on-flip-up" for my regular specs. If I raise the lenses up just a bit from the bottom, all is fine for both inside and outside viewing. Not very cool, but functional while driving.

For the windows...I spray the slides with silicone spray. Top and bottom.

We have a kitchen window that would not slide open more than a few inches. WBGO tried to fix it three times with absolutely no success. Now it's out of warranty.

I tried everything that I knew to try: Silicone spray, 2 kinds of dry sprays from the auto parts store, talcum and baby powder, bees wax. Nothing worked for more than 15 to 30 minutes. I took the window out cleaned everything reinstalled it and still no good. Somebody on these forums suggested 303. It worked like a charm and is still working after 2 months. The best non petroleum lub on the market. I use it on my slide gaskets as well. It is a bit pricey but so what it works. It's cheaper by the gallon from Amazon.

I fixed the Ford dark dash lights by installing a set of 10 LEDs at the top of the area of the dash. I put a piece of wood to cover and shield the lights from hitting my eyes. I did put a switch and a dimmer with it. Don't need the dimmer. It's always on bright. That took care of the problem.

I just looked on Amazon for the 303, only trouble is there is a ton of them. Could you tell me which 303 you used? Also could you tell me more about the LED lights? Where would I find them? Thanks

Sorry, I guess 303 wasn't enough info. Try 303 Aerospace Protectant. The stuff has tons of uses in the RV. Since it's good as a wax I sprayed it on our awning metal side brace hinges that was making noises as I raised and lowered it. If it gets on the paint no big deal. the same with the slide rubber gaskets. If it gets on the paint OK.

For the lights try this link. Several have used LEDs with good results. I got a set of 12 for $15 at Auto Zone. When I hooked it up to 12 V the power line I picked actually was hooked to the jacks in some way. When I start the RV and try to lower the jacks if the E brake isn't on the dash lights flash

The windows are hard to move do to the friction drag of the vertical rubber wiper strip on the fixed window. Tiffin even puts decals on some of the coach windows that say apply Plexus. But what they don't include is" spray it on the sliding outside glass". Can also spray tracks, but its questionable if it helps.
DW could not move large windows in saloon. After spraying and buffing the outside glass with Plexus...you can sling the windows closed.

As for windscreen glare and retina shut down, do what pilots do. Get gradient brown tint sunglass. Blocks outside rays and allows you to see the panel. Better then nothin, but not perfect. Some of us went to work for Fedex or UPS and only fly at night. Count Dracula Airlines. Your mileage may vary.
