2000 Allegro Tiffin Bus M37 - Air fitting

In the front of my bus beside the generator is an air coupler. It is not a standard industrial fitting, it is not a standard automotive fitting, it is not a standard gas fitting..... I do not know what will fit it....

Has anyone else ran into this problem?

What is the correct fitting that will work with this coupler? I would like a fitting that is female on the hose side and male on the coupler side...

Don't know why that would not be a standard coupler! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

If its a male fitting, you may not get any air out of it.

It may be designed only to fill the tanks from a tow truck and have a check valve in it, near the tank. Thats to prevent lose of air if the line/fitting is damaged.

I had a weird fitting on my air supply on my '02 Bus. I just removed it and put the same type of fitting I used on all my other pneumatic tools. Everything matched now.

It is a female coupler fitting and I would love to replace it but it is seized on there after all these years and I am afraid I will break it getting it off.... Was really hoping I could find the correct fitting for it but if not I may cut it off...

I just looked at some old posts on the Tiffin forum and found the connector is an Milton type M, which apparently is an industrial type fitting, but is supposedly available. Good luck.

I suspected a similar issue when we bought our new Tiffin. For me, when the tank pressure is low, I can insert my standard male fitting on my hose and everything works fine. At full tank pressure, I can't insert the same fitting (maybe I'm just a 98 lb weakling).

On doing some reading, the air suspension pressure is a little low for filling tires. You may need to run the engine to keep the pressure high enough. So I don't use the system.
