2006 Phaeton solar install

Have a 2006 Phaeton that I'm installing solar panels on. I plan on running the wires through the no longer used fridge vent (residential unit there now) to the basement.

The problem I'm having, is that I can't figure out how to get the wiring back to the inverter area at the rear of the coach. (basically getting it past the rear drive train.) I see some wire looms going to the back of the coach, but once past the rear wheels, they are behind the compartment walls.

Does anybody have a good idea how to accomplish this? I really want to accomplish this and not have it look like it's a hillbilly install. I also considered going through the rear cap, but I have no idea whats going on inside there, plus I actually have to add another penetration to that nice fiberglass roof, and I really don't want to do that.
