2007 32BA Open Road Window

I have a 2007 32BA Open Road & the passenger front side window has a screen over the glass, but when I open the widow the screen side opens with the glass & I don't see any way to close the screen & leave the window open, is this the way this suppose to work or am I missing how to open the window & leave the screen in place?

I'm not sure about an older Open Road, but my 2018 works the same as you describe except that my screen will shut with the window slid open. Or they will slide at the same time and stay together if I slide them together.
Yours may be just stuck together as mine does at times, but they are easy to slide separately. Probably just need to work with it to get the screen unstuck from the window. My other sliding windows work the same and the one behind the sofa was really stuck together when I bought it, but I managed to unstick them with a little encouragement.
Thanks,

Glad it's working properly now. Some people lubricate the grooves the windows slide in and say that helps, and I'm sure it does. I try to keep them cleaned and use the window every once in a while even if it's a window I don't normally open; just to keep them operational.
If you search this forum you may can find what lubricant most people use.
Thanks,
