2007 Tiffin motorhome

I am thinking of purchasing a 34 Tiffin
Allegro Diesel Motorhome. Anything to look out for.

We had a 40 foot phaeton and did not have any huge problems. The wet bay did need replaced. Tiffin did that for no charge at Red Bay Service Center. We were also a second owner. I suggest you call the tiffin company and ask them! They are honest and will tell you what they can. Good luck

IF you don't have any maintenance records I would replace all fluids and filters. Keep a log, date and mileage. This is what I did when we purchased our a few years ago. You can also call CAT and see if it has been to a service center and check for ECM updates.

Good luck

If you are looking at a model built on a Freightliner FRED chassis, make sure to see if it was affected by the Bosch brake recall, is, make sure the repair fas been done.
As with any Tiffin model built in that era, verify the 'Big 3' problem areas have been taken care of.

What are the "big 3" problem areas. I've heard of issues with the wet bay and on issue with the seals on the edges of the roof.

Thanks

Big 3

Wet bay floor
Drivers main slide floor
Roof rails cracking

Call Tiffin with VIN and see which are applicable and if applicable if they have been addressed. And if not addressed what are your options if needed remedied now or in the future.

Not deal breakers. Just need to be aware.

Thanks to all.

Bought a Fleetwood instead, however the Tiffin looked like a solid unit.
