2010-2015 Phaeton problems?

Asked before and can not find the thread, 1 year old. I know there is a roof problem on certain year Phaetons. Could someone let me know the years, and any other chronic problems? Looking for another coach, and a Phaeton is high on the list. Thanks, the Muffin Man.

Roof issue was resolved in the build process in spring of 2012. If you have a serial number Tiffin can verify it has the new design of any coach 2010-2012 if it was corrected or factory installed. I called them on a couple of 2012's when we were looking and they told me prior to the changeover to the new design there were some coaches that got the new design during the build but not all. There is also the wet bay and slide floor issue on earlier coaches depending on year. In 2014 Freightliner went to the ISL motor. 2014 and 2015 have a Freightliner recall for the starter motor rubbing, which can cause a fire. Make sure that recall has been completed, or if not, get it completed shortly after purchase.

If the coach is older than 10 years Tiffin won't help with the Big 3. I just had my roof fixed at Kimbrough's.
