2010 Phaeton sink drain line leak

My wife and I discovered some water on the floor near our sink in our 36 QSH Phaeton. By removing some drawers we discovered the issue was the sink drain line was cracked along the floor where it adjusts to the extension and retraction of the slide. Spoke with Tiffin and they have dealt with this enough that they have a kit to fix this problem. I ordered the kit (23" stiff radiator hose, 2 hose clamps, 2 pvc couplings) and now I will try to install it tomorrow on the road. Looks like I need to remove some wood panels to be able to cut away some of the old flex line and insert this stronger more rigid line. Not sure it will bend or flex enough as the slide travels in and out. Looks like every kit installation would be unique as there is no set place to splice the radiator hose into position. I will speak with the good folks at Tiffin before I cut into the line since there is no instructions but wanted to know if others have any advice from having installed this kit themselves.
