2011 Allegro Bus Awnings

We have a 2011 Bus with a OEM Dometic Wheather Pro Power Awning Model 115at18.001u which has lost it's motor. We understand the motor is no longer available.

We think we will have to replace the whole awning with a substitute Awning.

Has anyone experienced this problem as the more we talk to people it seems to get more and more complicated.

Had the awning replaced on our 2007 Allegro Bus with a Carefree 12V Eclipse 2 years ago. You might get a lot of opinions from what I have seen in the past on Carefree products but we have not had any issues with the new awning. Does operate a little slower then the OEM Dometic we had. Used a Mobile installer ShadePro in Southern CA.
