I have a question in regards to the house batteries. They charge fine while plugged to 50 amp service or while on generator power. Does anyone know if they charge while driving the coach? They are not charging while I drive. Only as listed above. Thanks.

Both my old coach and new charged the house batteries. If you have a gauge that reads the coach batteries, look at their voltage before starting your rig and then check
it after coach is started. Wait about 5 minutes or so for the chassis to take the intial charging.

Yes, the batteries should charge as you drive. Depending on the chassis that's under the coach. Tiffin's Powerglide has a solenoid that is on a time delay of ten minutes before it engages the chassis battery. Not sure of time delay on other chassis models. I would check that solenoid for proper operation. On my 2012 it is located in the rear most compartment on the passenger side.

Thanks. Just found out that the solenoid is not engaging. Will have to replace it! Thanks for your help! Greatly appreciated!
