2012 Tiffin 40 QBH Air Brakes
Greetings friends, I wanted to ask if any of you who have a similar model year Tiffin, has a Air Brake system piping schematic from Freightliner, that clearly indicates all the hardware for the Air Brake system. In addition, same question as to a parts list for the air brake system, brake chambers, relays, check valves, OP
Relief valve, low pressure sensor, ect.
Thank you
Jerry

While this pdf is generalized, it shows every part of an air brake system and explains its function.

Hey, Thank you for the Bendix manual. It is a very nice manual, however, as a owner of a Motorhome, I also want the specific diagram specific to my Freightliner chassis. Where each component is located, the part/model number of each item, Air dryer, valves relays, tanks over pressure pop off's, low pressure sensors ect. So I do appreciate what you shared and just wanted to add that we all need the Freightliner portion of the drawings, manuals and parts list specific to our chassis.

Go to Daimler Trucks North America create an account and you will have access to all kinds of Freightliner parts and drawings specific to your chassis.

I wish it worked that way
BobGed,
Thank you for the reply, I appreciate your taking the time to do this.
I have done as you suggest, and so far I HAVE ZERO INFORMATION.
I requested the drawings, manuals, parts list for all the Air Related systems on my 2012 Tiffin 40 QBH. They have all of this, they used drawings to design, purchase or manufacture the components, to install them and to test them, but so far, THEY HAVE PROVIDED ME WITH NOTHING.
Same isuue with the DEF system, on Freight Liner chassis built in Gaffney South Carolina, they received the basic DEF system components, SCR, Particulate Filter and De-Composition chambers along with the Doser Pump, all sensors, DEF head from Cummins. Freight liner supplied the DEF fluid tank, TANK LEVEL SENSORS, all wiring, all fluid tubing, hoses,
and installed the system, not Cummins.
So, when your tank goes bad, or your level sensors stop working, they have to be obtained from Freightliner.
Friends, this is another CORPORATE AMERICA ISSUE, any good American company should want to provide all technical documents, drawings, manuals and parts list to the owners of these systems. Yet they do not without a lot of arm twisting. Usually lawsuits or Federal and or state legislation. I will continue requesting these items, thank you again.
