2012 Tiffin Phaeton 40QBH Window trim

I wanted to ask if any of you know who the supplier was for the driver side slide window. I have a need to replace the exterior stationary rubber/neoprene seal to prevent rain water entry.

I see no such parts in the Tiffin parts catalog, and helpful suggestions would
be appreciated.

I would suggest calling Tiffin parts (256) 356-0261.

Where do you see the water, in the lower channel? The sliding window seal is readily available.

Drivers sliding glass window

The leak is caused by the rubber seal that is stationary and seals against the glass when window is in the closed position. It has likely schrunk with time and does not press against glass as well asbit once did and i need a new replacement seal if I can find resource.

If anyone knows, 2012 Tiffin 40 QbH.

Thank you all for your comments.

2012 Tiffin Phaeton 40QBH Window trim

I assume you mean the sliding window. Yes, that is available from Tiffin. I replaced mine this summer because I was getting a puddle of water in the bottom of the track. I have a 2015, which has a different window.

Go to store.tiffinmotorhomes.com and do a search for part # 5014427 to see if that is what you need. I would call them to verify the part number though.

By the way, if this is the seal that needs replacement, it is very easy to install.

Question,
In the installation ofvthe rubber seal that keeps waterbfrom entering area around sliding window, does it simply press in a groove or does it require an adhesive sealant.

Thank you for your advice

2012 Tiffin Phaeton 40QBH Window trim

The exterior, which you canít see, has ribbed seals (if you blow up the photo on the Tiffin website you can sort of see them as they are blurry) so as you press it into place it will seal. No adhesive required. I opened the window, pulled out the old one, cleaned up the channel and installed the new one.

By the way, that is the seal a friend installed in his 2013 Phaeton.
