2013 Phaeton exhaust diameter

I have a request from someone with a Phaeton. My father is currently in the Tahoe national forest with a smashed exhaust pipe and some other body damage. I am not sure of all the details on damage, but he asked me to bring up some silicone, duct tape and 4 feet of flex exhaust tubing and clamps. He said there is 45 degree bend after the outlet of the muffler that is smashed up and restricting air flow. He got those pieces removed and tried to reshape them with no luck.

I was hoping someone could help us out by taking a measurement of the exhaust pipe size and maybe the distance from the muffle outlet to the exhaust tip. We have a 4 feet of 4 inch diameter flex exhaust tubing and clamps, I just want to make sure this is long enough and the correct diameter before I drive up there. For now he is setup in a forest campground and enjoying the weather waiting for me and his grandkids to go enjoy the Rubicon Trail.

Also if you can take pictures it would be greatly appreciated.

His rig is a 2013 Phaeton 40QBH, I am sure any model of the Phaeton within a couple of this would have the same size exhaust tubing on it.

Thank you

Bryan

The exhaust system should be a chassis manufacturer item , is the coach on a Freightliner chassis?

Suggest he measure on his coach the sizes needed - this would ensure the correct sizing.

You could try phoning Freightliner help line , but without serial number you might not get too far.

1-800-385-4357

Past the muffler , I believe Cummins would be 4" tail pipe, where Cat uses larger.
