2013 Tiffin Phaeton dash controls

I am a newbee to this forum for please forgive my mistakes.

I have a 2013 Tiffin Pheaton and cannot find any manuals that explain all of the instrument panels controls. My air conditioning and heating control has two buttons one I assume is for air conditioning and the other is just a button with a round O in the middle. I do not know what that button does. We are having 117 temperatures in AZ and my air conditioner seems to not be working.

Can anyone help me Please?

One button turns on/off the compressor. One with the O shape is recirculating on/off. Recirculating will cool better in hot weather. When I had my 2013 Phaeton 40QBH I would run generator and rig top a/c if it was really hot. Dash a/c not adequate.

Randy is correct. At 117 deg the dash will not cool much. Run generator and 2 or 3 roof air units.

Also while driving use a collapsible shower curtain rod mounted up between the two closed slides just behind the drivers compartment with a floor length curtain installed. This cuts down on the amount of space the dash a/c has to cool.

It took me trial and error to deduce what that button did; I'm glad to have others confirm it.

If your Tiff has other controls similar to mine ...
AND if your experience with it is similar to me ...

then now is the time to ensure you know how to operate the windshield wipers. Within 30 min. of our taking possession of our Phaeton it started raining and we couldn't figure out how to operate them. We wound up pushing the (wash) button to get a single swipe. Turns out my smaller circular button rotates much like clock hands. The outer/ larger circular button rotates to set the delay of swipes.

One other overlooked tip about the wipers - once we operated them properly (of course the window was now dry) the rubber just rolled up and peeled off the blade; so check them also, before they're needed.

We still haven't mastered using the installed radio (and setting the clock); its not of much use to us over the road noise and once camped out we prefer peace and quiet.

You can get your owners manual from: https://tiffinmotorhomes.com/resources/owners-manual

I also downloaded the brochure for our 2014 Allegro Bus.

Most of your system manuals are also available for download from the manufacturer's web sites. Just start Googling.
