2014 36 la fan issues

Hi all
both my galley and rear bath fans stopped working
1/2 bath fan works fine
yes....vents are open and fuses are fine
seems they must somehow be connected to stop at same time
Troubleshooting suggestions?

Where is the temperature knob set at? Temp might be cool enough that they are not coming on

I think you need to set all the way cool so it stays on.Take the four screws out and check with a test light or something to make sure 12 v is getting there when turned on. Did you check for a bad fuse on the multiplex system where that is controlled by.

You probably have power if you can hear the thermostat click. Check the pressure switch that prevents the fan from running when the vent cover is closed. They may be stuck closed if your vents have been closed for a extended period.
I have trouble with the covers sticking when closed for a extended period. I have to apply a little bit of help to the motors for the lids to open.

X 3, have replaced them 2 times in the same fans 2 over 13 years. Fantastic fan comped them both times.

But,,,, mine are not Multiplex, seeing a lot of issues in study of that data. Hard to track through history as the software fixes one thing then breaks another. Unless you can get Multiplex, error logs that is a real sticky wicket.

Thanx for all the suggestions. It has ended up being a thermostat issue
Decided to leave it for a day and returned to adjust the temp control to hear the click.......and what do you know....they started running
Do you think it is a time issue for the thermostat reset?

That kind of stuff happens all the time in Motor homes. Unless it continues to be happen I would not worry about replacing anything. Rotating the thermostat switch a few times will clean the contacts and you probably won't ever have another problem.
