2014 Allegro Bus 37AP crimped hose?

Hi All! Asking for some help..anyone have an issue with the kitchen sink hoses leaking in the bay above Aqua Hot,?
Heard this has been a known issue..hoses crimp when slide is open and causes the problem..can't find anyone to work on it, tiffin recommended a fix using radiator hoses but think we need to go to Red Bay? Tired 😫 of not being able to use my kitchen sink!

Welcome to the forum.
What diameter is the hose? Should be a simple fix. Where are you located?

Isnít the AquaHot located on the DS? How is it leaking from the kitchen area?

Reinforced flex hoses similar to what Tiffin uses is available at most of the major Ace hardware stores. I was looking at some in our local store just the other day while I was buying a different hose.

Ask your husband if he can see where it attaches on each end. The metal box may be to protect it when the slide moves. I am thinking if you can get to both ends you should be able to use the old hose to "fish" the new hose through.
I would ask Tiffin how to get acess to the hose to replace it.
Keep us updated.
Bill

Many, including myself, have repaired a kink with a universal radiator hose. If you have the heavy PVC flex pipe, you can get a hose that has the same ID as the OD of the PVC and simply clamp together. I did this repair on my previous coach. Auto Zone had the hose in stock. I think that the original application was on a 1950 Packard.

Hello..We have asked Tiffin on several occasions and unfortunately The hoses are in a metal container with very little access. They said they have done the fix and are willing to do in Red Bay but a very long drive for us. We have a decent repair guy but he tried once and said too difficult to do. Anyone know if the black metal container can be unbolted from under the slide to access the hoses?

Yes your right..our aquahot is in the same bay just making it difficult to access the hoses to make the repair..we know Red Bay can do just wanted to see if anyone tried the fix (with radiator hoses) themselves and how did you get to the hoses .

I'm not sure if your wire/hose chase under the slide is the same as mine but if it is it can be opened. Look for a screw on each side of the box near the outer end. Remove those screws and the top will slide back into the coach a ways giving you access to the wires and hoses.

Thanks for the response..we have asked how to access but seems not easy..no schematic available..
When we observe the leak it is actually coming from the end of the metal box where it slides into the coach

I found a photo of the wire/hose chase on mine. If yours is like this, then the box can be slid back. Remove the screw on each side and the horizontal box will slide back into the cavity part way. That gives you access to any wiring or hoses inside.

See if you can see/find the ends of the hose.
