That one needs a new roof. Yes, Fibron expands and contracts at different rates than underlayment but properly glued it will not do that.
The real problem when the Fibron is moving that much is failure of any seals. The roof coves, skylight, roof vents, ac, tank vents. To have that much separation moisture has gotten under the Fibron at some time. Problem is how do you walk on it to reseal everything but the roof coves. Likely will crack.
Keep all the edges sealed and it won’t leak, until it cracks and does. Search the forums for the guy that was driving down the road a 6’ of his Fibron peeled off. It the becomes an emergency.
That one will need new Fibron and luan underlayment. Generally it is best to replace skylight, vent caps and roof vents. It’s cheaper to install new than clean up the old. I write a lot of estimates to replace these when damaged.
A good place to start is $325-$350 a lineal foot. So that’s $14,000 to replace.
I have a 16 year old Winnebago that spends all winter in Mexico in direct sunlight and I do not have a single bubble in it.
