2014 Tiffin RED roof ripples
Tiffin owners, I am looking at a 2014 Tiffin RED roof ripples in SoCal in great shape until I looked at the roof. It has ripple from one end to other. Emailed Tiffin & they say it is normal in warm weather. Because of not being fulled glued & bonded. What do you all say? Run or buy?

We have a friend with a 2018 Open Road. Has bubbles in his also, just not as many as the picture. Tiffin told him the same thing....normal. He has no roof leaks. My opinion? I don't think thats right and looks like a poor glue job.
My rig is now 6 1/2 years old and I have never seen a ripple.

Have not been to CA, but our 2011 Coachmen with a TPO roof has never looked like that in the FL summer sun. I can tell you that it is not glued down, only fastened at the edges and around vents & equipment. It is possible (and likely) that roof material expands and contracts with temperature changes.

Be interesting to mount a go pro on the roof while at highway speeds to see if any flapping goes on as the wind travels across the roof.

Yes it's normal when sitting in hot sun. Tiffin does not fully glue the entire roof to the sub structure.

Is it a rubber roof? Most new tiffins are full fiberglass roofs

No, it's a thin fiberglass roof that is fastened around the perimeter of the roof.

I have a 2015 Breeze 28BR with similar rippling, but I have only about 10% as much as your photo and only in one small area. My Tiffin is stored in So. Cal in the sun. I've been told not to worry about it too, but I am super careful walking near the ripples and hot happy at all about them.
Are the silicon seal beads above your windows in good shape? Mine could be better and need touch-up periodically. Perhaps full replacement soon.

Not normal nor acceptable
The roof is fg and way too thin. The heat expands the fiber in some spots not sufficiently glued and bubbles form. Condensation forms inside, then mold sets in.
All bad. Take a fg moisture meter and take reading. You will get confirmation regarding high humidity levels. And should you go or store the coach in freezing weather, it will delaminate more.
