2015 Tiffin Allegro 32SA Mud Flap

I have been told not to put a mud flap on my coach as it could start a fire. Has anybody heard this or had experience with a mud flap on a 2015 open road 32sa

I assume you mean the full width flap (rock guard) right at the rear bumper?

I can’t see how it would. Both the engine and genny exhaust are well forward of where it would mount (at least on our 2016). We bought ours in September, and it had an aftermarket rock guard already in place.

It also had standard factory installed mud flaps behind the rear wheels.

I will say that's a first. I've never heard that a rear mud flap could cause a fire. Our friends with a Fleetwood did have their flap melt a hole because it was flying up into the exhaust. REV replaced it and put a chain on the flap to keep it from going up so far.

Yes I did mean the one across the back. Since there is no exhaust back there I could not see any reason this could be true, Thank you

I have a full rock guard on my 2016 32SA and never had a issue. I to have not heard of any fires.

Never heard that. I took mine off (plenty of threads on pros/cons) and will put back on whenever we get rid of Phancy Phaeton.
